This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1. Who we are

Animate The Globe (https://www.animatetheglobe.com) is operated by the operator of Animate The Globe ("we", "us").

To reach us, contact us through the contact page on this website.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or buying a course on Animate The Globe, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

Accounts are provided through our authentication provider, Clerk. Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for activity on your account.

One account is for one person. Sharing logins or reselling access is not allowed, and we may suspend accounts that do so.

4. Purchases and access

Course prices are shown in euros on the site and at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.

When your payment is confirmed, you get access to the purchased course for as long as the platform operates. If we ever have to shut down the platform, we will give reasonable advance notice.

We may update, re-record or reorganise course content over time to keep it useful.

5. Licence to use the courses

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to watch the course videos and use the course materials for your own learning.

You may not copy, download (except files we provide as downloads), re-upload, resell, stream publicly or share our course videos or materials.

6. What you create

Animations you make while following the courses belong to you. You may publish and monetise them.

You are responsible for your own content, including making sure you have the rights to any music, footage, characters or artwork you use, and for following the rules of the platforms you publish on.

Following a course does not guarantee any number of views, subscribers, YouTube Partner Program eligibility or income.

7. Third-party software

The courses use third-party software such as Moho (formerly Anime Studio Pro), Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, Krita, Inkscape, GIMP and Audacity. This software is not included in your purchase and is subject to its own licences and prices.

Animate The Globe is not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of this software.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which allows refund requests within 14 days of purchase.

9. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to bypass payment, access content you haven't bought, disrupt the site, or use automated tools to scrape it.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Where appropriate, we'll tell you why.

10. Liability

We provide the courses with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, the site is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the "last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify account holders. Purchases are governed by the Terms in place at the time of purchase.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator is registered, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
